Carroll Township was founded in 1835. The township contains 33.7 square miles of land, and is home to more than 1,900 residents. Carroll Township is home to wildlife, farming, fishing, boating, and Davis-Besse nuclear power plant. During the summer months, many tourists join the population of Carroll Township to take advantage of the natural beauty found on Lake Erie and the Toussaint River.

FALL CLEAN UP, COMING SOON!!!! The township will once again be hosting fall cleanup at the Township Complex!! Dates are Oct 23 & 24 from 7am-6pm and Saturday Oct 25 from 7am-12pm. NO TIRES OR PAINT will be allowed! Township residents will be asked to show proof of residency at arrival and assistance will be available, if needed. Please do NOT leave trash on the ground and around dumpsters! The Carroll Twp. School Use Committee is holding a Public Meeting seeking ideas for the use of the former Carroll School building. The ideas will be given to the Twp. Trustees and they will have final say as to how the building will be used. Thursday, September 18 at 7:00PM At the former Carroll Twp.
